Harvard Business Review and the New England Journal of Medicine have partnered for an eight-week online, editorial forum “devoted to helping leaders, managers, and others in health care increase value by improving patient outcomes and reducing costs.”

The articles, mostly opinion pieces from leaders in the field and industry overviews from Harvard and other university professors, contain inspired ideas for improving public policy and business practices to solve the healthcare cost and quality crisis facing our country.

For example, industry superstar David Blumenthal authored the lead piece in the forum’s “Big Ideas” section. James Merlino, MD, chief experience officer at Cleveland Clinic, is also a featured author.

Best of all, the forum brings together in one place many of HBR’s archived stories on healthcare.

It’s Friday so I’m keeping this post short. You should take the time saved by its brevity and check out how some of the great business minds of today would fix healthcare.
