The Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center encompasses the 293-bed main Daytona Beach hospital, 80-bed Ormond Beach hospital and outpatient facilities. Founded in 1967, the medical center is still renovating and expanding. It opened a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in 2016. More than 1,700 employees staff the medical center.
