Seattle Children’s Names Wes Wright Senior VP, CIO

Seattle Children’s Hospital has named Wes Wright as senior vice president and CIO.

In this role, Mr. Wright will be responsible for developing and implementing multiple information systems essential to the clinical and business operations of Seattle Children’s. He will also lead the privacy program, which safeguards patient health information in compliance with HIPAA.

Previously, Mr. Wright served as vice president and chief technology officer of Seattle Children’s. Prior to joining Children’s four years ago, he served as executive director of information services for San Diego-based Scripps Health. Before Scripps, Mr. Wright served for 20 years in the United States Air Force as a health services administrator.
