Eastern Maine Medical Center Breaks Ground on $247M Expansion

Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor has broken ground on $247 million expansion, according to a Bangor Daily News report.

The seven-story expansion will house surgical, cardiac and neonatal services, as well as private, single-patient rooms and nurseries.

Construction is expected to be completed by 2015 or early 2016.
