Changing the name of The Indiana Heart Hospital, which is located on the Community Hospital North campus, also aims to reflect the range of cardiovascular services the hospital offers. The heart hospital recently opened a comprehensive cardiovascular genetic counseling center of excellence to determine patients’ risk of inherited heart disease and prevent or manage the condition, according to the release.

The transition to the new name, including new signage, will begin Oct. 1.
