University Hospitals Names Patricia DePompei Head of its Children’s, Women’s Hospitals

Cleveland-based University Hospitals has named Patricia DePompei as president of UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and MacDonald Women’s Hospital, according to a report by Crain’s Cleveland Business.

Ms. DePompei had served as interim CEO of both hospitals since last summer after Mike Farrell stepped down to become the president of Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill., according to the report.

Ms. DePompei has been with the University Hospitals system for more than 20 years.
