Carle Foundation Hospital Opens Heart and Vascular Center

Urbana, Ill.-based Carle Foundation Hospital has opened a new heart and vascular institute to patients, according to a report from The Daily Illini.

The institute offers state-of-the art cardiac care, cardiac education, heart surgery and specialty heart imaging.

Carle hired four more cardiologists and an invasive radiologist to join staff from the old cardiology department, according to the report.

The Heart and Vascular Institute occupies one of the floors in Carle’s newly constructed, 390,000-square-foot patient tower.
