California’s Torrance Memorial Medical Center’s New Tower Underway

Torrance (Calif.) Memorial Medical Center is well on its way to constructing a new seven-story medical tower, according to a Daily Breeze report.

The $300 million tower will house 256 beds, lounges, chapels and more. Hospital officials expect construction for the tower, which began in Feb. 2010, will be completed in 2014.
