Allied BioScience names VP of healthcare

Dallas-based Allied BioScience, a technology company that produces antimicrobial surface coatings, has named Jules Sullivan as its vice president of healthcare.

In this role, Mr. Sullivan will helm the introduction and adoption of the company’s antimicrobial products in hospitals, surgery centers and other healthcare settings.

Mr. Sullivan has 25 years of healthcare experience in different areas of the industry, like medical disposables, infection control products and solutions, diagnostic imaging and medical implantable devices. Most recently, he was the regional vice president of alternate care at MedAssets.

“As someone who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the medical products arena, I am all too aware of both the clinical and economic impact of hospital-acquired infections,” Mr. Sullivan said. “I look forward to the opportunity to change the infection prevention landscape within healthcare settings through the use of Allied BioScience’s technology and products.”
