UMass Memorial Medical Center to add analytics platform to Tele-ICUs

Worcester, Mass.-based UMass Memorial Medical Center partnered with Clew, provider of a personalized clinical analytics platform, to enhance care in its tele-intensive care units.

The artificial intelligence-powered platform leverages predictive models and an advanced analytics engine to detect patient deterioration in real-time. It gives caregivers predictive warnings during all phases of a patient's tele-ICU stay, thereby enhancing decision making.

Per the partnership, Clew will be able to broaden its advanced clinical trials for its predictive analytics capabilities based on AI algorithms. The platform will be used at UMass Memorial Medical Center's tele-ICUs, across five facilities and monitoring approximately 150 patients.
