Teladoc visits up 45%, hit 928K in Q3: 5 things to know

Teladoc Health posted a 45 percent increase in total visits and revenue of $138 million for the third quarter of 2019, which ended Sept. 30.

Five things to know:

1. Teladoc reported $138 million in revenue, a 24 percent increase from $111 million during the third quarter of 2018.

2. The telehealth company posted a 63 percent increase in year-over-year nine months total visits at 2.9 million.

3. Subscription access fees generated most of the Teladoc’s revenue for the third quarter at $119 million, up 23 percent from $97 million during the second quarter.

4. Teladoc posted a $20.3 million net loss, a 12 percent decrease from the $23.3 million net loss reported during the third quarter of 2018.

5. For the fourth quarter of 2019, Teladoc expects its total revenue to hit between $149 million and $153 million.
