Teladoc Health announced on Oct. 25 the release of Teladoc Medical Experts, a virtual center for patients dealing with a wide range of complex mental and physical medical needs.
Teladoc Medical Experts allows state-licensed physicians to virtually connect with individuals regardless of their geographic location to provide consultations relating to accuracy of diagnosis and offer advice on treatment plans. Physicians participating in the virtual program comprise more than 450 medical subspecialties.
The service is currently available for more than 100,000 Teladoc members across the country. Teladoc Medical Experts also features a "Find a Doctor" search function, which uses the company's physician database to make community physician referrals into the individual's preferred health plan and center of excellence networks.
