Teladoc launches mental health telemedicine services 

Teladoc Health launched a new telemedicine service for mental healthcare on Oct. 21 that is available on the same platform as its medical virtual care platform.

With Mental Health Care, Teladoc offers access to licensed psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists no matter where the member lives, according to the news release. Members can also have multiple sessions with the same clinician.

The new service offerings are available to Canadian employers; Teladoc delivers telemedicine care in 175 countries and for more than 9 million Canadian residents.
