The program will use video consultation over a computer monitor to connect patients with off-site physicians. The initial service will collaborate with Babak Rezaei, MD, a neurologist. Patients will initially see Dr. Rezaei at his practice, but follow-up visits will be conducted through the hospital’s telehealth program.
The initial rollout of this service will start in 2017, with continued expansion as additional specialists are obtained.
