Shriners Hospital, Newton Medical Center team up on telehealth

Shriners Hospital for Children — St. Louis is partnering with Newton (Kan.) Medical Center on Shriners’ first telehealth location in Kansas, according to Hutch News.

New technology at Newton (Kan.) Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine clinic will allow patient medical information to be electronically transmitted via digital stethoscopes, otoscopes and dermoscopes, among others, to physicians at Shriners Hospital for Children — St. Louis.

Shriners Hospital for Children — St. Louis specializes in diseases of the bone, joints and muscles as well as spinal deformities and sports injuries.
