Florida Hospital New Smyrna in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., partnered with Advanced ICU Care, a provider of high-acuity telemedicine services, to launch tele-intensive care unit clinical services.
Advanced ICU Care offers Florida Hospital New Smyrna's bedside clinicians support with its team of intensivists, advanced practice providers and nurses. Via secure exchange of patient information and audio-video technology, Advanced ICU Care's team can engage in patient care at the hospital. The tele-ICU also allows Florida Hospital New Smyrna to provide ICU patients around-the-clock monitoring.
Florida Hospital New Smyrna is the latest Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System facility to launch tele-ICU services.
