Boston Children's partners with virtual care provider 2nd.MD

Boston Children's Hospital and 2nd.MD have entered into strategic partnership to provide virtual access to specialist care.

Per the partnership, 2nd.MD's 12 million users will gain remote access to pediatric specialists at Boston Children's via video conference on 2nd.MD's technology platform. Additionally, 2nd.MD users will gain a streamlined process to transfer their care to Boston Children's Hospital.

The partnership also allows Boston Children's to provide care to those living outside its service area.

"In addition to the unsurpassed care and amazing work being done by our surgeons, doctors and clinicians, Boston Children's is working to create better access and overall experience for families every day," said Steven Fishman, MD, president of the Boston Children's Physicians Organization.
