Three things to know:
1. Ms. Howe will oversee the telehealth company’s cultural and operational initiatives, and Mr. Miller will focus on leading Amwell’s payer relationships.
2. Ms. Howe joins Amwell from Beacon Health Options, where she served as executive vice president and chief human resources officer. She has also previously held senior human resource positions at Santander Bank and TD Bank.
3. Mr. Miller previously served as senior vice president of sales and account management at MultiPlan. He also was also the global head of health plans, employers, providers, TPA’s and worker’s compensation at the health insurance company.
