Top 25 healthcare supply chains in 2025: Gartner

The annual Gartner Healthcare Supply Chain Top 25 ranking has again named Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth as the industry leader in supply chain performance and innovation. 

The ranking, which Gartner published Nov. 19, recognizes health systems that demonstrate excellence in supply chain management 

Compared to last year’s ranking, St. Louis-based Ascension made the largest leap as it rose nine spots, from No. 22 in 2024 to No. 13 this year. 

Three systems named on Gartner’s 2024 ranking did not make this year’s list: Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System, Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare and Detroit-based Henry Ford Health. Indiana University Health, Mass General Brigham and NewYork-Presbyterian joined the 2025 ranking.
