Mr. Jones shared the following tip with Becker’s:
“Forward thinking institutions should utilize modern inventory replenishment systems to ensure optimal performance. [These systems] can help eliminate inefficient orders, calibrate the right amount of inventory and ultimately reduce labor effort in the replenishment process. Additionally, hospitals should consider online reporting tools that offer real-time data on purchasing decisions and ensure contract compliance, price parity and optimal utilization.”
