Stryker to Acquire Berchtold Holdings

Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Stryker will acquire Berchtold Holdings, a surgical infrastructure equipment company with facilities in Germany and the United States, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The agreement is valued at $172 million and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2014.
