The CT system can perform scans using high energy levels at low voltages, which provides more precise imaging and allows clinicians to adjust the dosage level of the machine based on patients’ needs.
Scanning at lower dosage levels also reduces patients’ exposure to radiation.
Germany-based Siemens Healthineers did not say when Somatom Drive would hit the market.
