Reverse Medical Receives 501(k) Clearance from FDA on Micro Vascular Plug System

Irvine, Calif.-based Reverse Medical Corporation has received 501(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market its MVP-5 Micro Vascular Plug system, according to a news release.

The MVP-5 system is used to reduce or obstruct blood flow for vessels between 3 and 5 mm in the peripheral vasculature.
