Mr. Blaszyk served as senior executive vice president, CFO and chief corporate officer of San Francisco–based Dignity Health before retiring in 2015. During his 15-year career at Dignity Health, he helped the health system transform from a $6 billion hospital into a $17 billion integrated delivery system, according to a news release.

Dr. Doppenberg is a board-certified neurosurgeon who serves as the associate medical director of neurosurgery and medical director of spinal surgery at Downer’s Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Medical Group. In his advisory role at Procured Health, Dr. Doppenberg will share his clinical experience and insights to guide the company’s evidence-based research.

“The amount of wasteful spending and unnecessary variation within the healthcare industry is staggering,” Procured Health CEO Hani Elias said in a news release. “We’re eager to tap into Mr. Blaszyk’s and Dr. Doppenberg’s knowledge and passion as we push our clients to think differently about how to solve these problems.”
