Steve Bodily has joined Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System as chief supply chain officer.
Mr. Bodily has spent more than 20 years leading supply chain operations in healthcare, higher education and global operations. Most recently, he was the supply chain chief at MUSC Health, a 16-hospital system based in Charleston, S.C. He is also a former COO of supply chain at Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health.
Mr. Bodily officially joined Duke on Oct. 1 and succeeds Bill Trofi, who has served as the system’s interim supply chain officer for the past two years. Mr. Trofi will return to his previous role as assistant vice president of sourcing and procurement, according to a news release from the health system.
Duke University Health System includes four hospitals and a network of primary and specialty clinics throughout the region.
