The 2018 Supplier Award recipients were chosen based on input from several Intermountain clinical areas and the supply chain organization’s leadership team, as well as the supplier’s current and historical performance.
Here are this year’s winners:
1. Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Co. won the Collaboration MVP Award for helping Intermountain solve price discrepancies and make logistical improvements.
2. RightSourcingearned the Cost, Quality, Outcomes Award for its supplier-neutral staffing program, which allows Intermountain to achieve good data, quick fill times and strong adherence to Joint Commission requirements.
3. Jacobsen Construction received the Corporate Social Responsibility Award for working with Intermountain to develop sustainable construction projects that improve quality of life in the local communities.
4. McKessonwon the Supply Chain Excellence Award for aiding Intermountain in inventory optimization and generic drug price reduction, while also helping to mitigate supply shortages.
