Some blood donors stood outside a local United Blood Services center all night, waiting for the location to open, according to Yasmeen Hassan, a reporter for KTNV’s “Good Morning Las Vegas.”
“The line to donate blood is now wrapped around United Blood Services,” she tweeted Monday morning, while on the scene at the United Blood Services center. “Hundreds of people coming out to help in any way they can.”
Ms. Hassan said the line grew to more than five hundred people by 8:42 a.m. PST.
Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo urged local residents to donate blood for the shooting victims during a press conference early Monday morning. Local police officers and city officials are still seeking blood donors and distributing lists of locations where people can donate, according to The Hill.
