The acquisition will add 20 new operating sites to the DHL’s network and boost its presence in Italy to more than 800 employees at about 60 facilities, according to the report.
Through the agreement, MIT will keep its current distribution structure and maintain management independence.
The companies did not disclose financial aspects of the deal.
