Baptist Health, Norton Healthcare Form Joint Purchasing Agreement With Medline

Baptist Health and Norton Healthcare, both based in Louisville, Ky., have entered a five-year joint purchasing agreement with Mundelein, Ill.-based Medline, according to a news release.

Medline will be the primary provider of medical and surgical supplies for the two healthcare systems.

The joint venture is expected to save $15 million over the 5-year contract.

The two healthcare systems will maintain separate operations.
