AmerisourceBergen to close California distribution center, cut 100 jobs

AmerisourceBergen, one of the major hospital suppliers in the U.S., will close its distribution center in Valencia, Calif., according to The Santa Clarita Valley Signal.

The closure, slated to take place this fall, will result in 100 employees losing their jobs.

The decision was made to better align distribution capabilities to customer needs, the company told the publication. 

Affected employees will be eligible to receive separation packages and can also apply for open positions at the company.
