While the company has remained relatively quiet regarding its potential foray into the pharmacy sphere, analysts from the investment firm Jefferies discovered correspondence between the company and regulators in Tennessee and Indiana, according to the report.

Excerpts of the documents allegedly detail the retail giant’s intent to sell medical devices and supplies in Indiana, but indicate the company will not store or distribute prescription drugs.

Amazon officials are expected to make a decision on whether the company will enter the prescription drug business in the coming weeks, according to the report.
