5 recent devicemaker acquisitions, CEO moves

Here are five recent acquisitions and executive moves among medical device companies, listed in chronological order:  

1. Prescott's acquires laboratory sterilizer, washer company

Prescott's, a surgical microscopes repair company, acquired Preventive Maintenance Medical on Sept. 28, marking its second acquisition since Aug. 22. 

2. Concordance partners with software company on ecosystem for supply visibility

Concordance Healthcare Solutions, a Tiffin, Ohio-based medical supplier, will partner with software company Palantir Technologies "to power the first, fully integrated medical supply chain ecosystem," the companies said Oct. 3. 

3. Centerline Biomedical names Gulam Khan as its CEO

Cleveland-based company Centerline Biomedical, which sells endovascular devices, chose Gulam Khan as its next CEO Oct. 4. 

4. Cybersecurity healthcare company MedSec taps new CEO

MedSec named Michelle Jump as its CEO, effective Oct. 1. Former CEO Justine Bone resigned after being in the role for six years, according to an Oct. 4 news release. 

5. Collagen Matrix acquires medtech business

Collagen Matrix acquired Polyganics, a Netherlands-based medtech company that sells bioresorbable medical devices intended for tissue repair and regeneration, according to an Oct. 5 news release.
