4 latest FDA approvals

Here are the four latest drugs or medical devices approved by the Food and Drug Administration.  

  1. Genentech's drug Lucentis can now be administered through a prefilled syringe form.

  2. Wayne, Pa.-based Teleflex developed the Arrow Midline catheter.

  3. Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly's drug Lartruvo is intended to treat patients with advanced soft tissue sarcoma.

  4. Roche's bladder cancer drug Tecentriq can now be used as a second-line treatment for patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.
