FDA greenlights Teleflex’s new catheter

Wayne, Pa.-based device maker Teleflex earned Food and Drug Administration approval for its Arrow Midline catheter.

Arrow Midline, which uses chlorag+ard technology, is an antithrombogenic and antimicrobial peripheral venous catheter intended to reduce common complications associated with catheters, according to the report.

The Arrow Midline catheter can also be used for diagnostic studies.
