Radiology Partners CEO joins Strive Health's board

Kidney care company Strive Health has named Rich Whitney to its board of directors, the company said Jan. 5.

Mr. Whitney is the chairman and CEO of Radiology Partners, the largest physician-owned radiology practice in the U.S., which he's helped guide from a start-up to earning $2 billion in revenue. In his former role as CFO of kidney dialysis provider DaVita, Mr. Whitney helped grow the company to $11 billion in revenue and $20 billion in enterprise value, according to the release.

"Treating kidney disease is expensive and holds many opportunities to improve the patient journey," Mr. Whitney said in the release. "Strive Health is transforming the traditional approach to kidney care with advanced technology and high-touch care teams that lower costs and help patients lead better lives. I am excited to join the board and work with the team."

Mr. Whitney also serves on the board of CHG Healthcare and the National Veterinary Associates.
