1. Adding to its pharmacy business. Amazon already offers home delivery of prescriptions through its recently acquired online pharmacy PillPack. It could buy other pharmacies, such as drugstore chain Rite Aid, Mr. Chukumba said.
2. Using its Whole Foods purchase for healthcare. Amazon may look to develop healthy, tailored meals that it sends through the mail. It could also bring healthcare services to consumers through clinics at its Whole Foods locations.
3. Beefing up home healthcare offerings. Amazon may expand home health services through its voice assistant, Alexa, or other emerging technologies.
