Bon Secours St. Francis Gets Naming Rights to Entertainment Arena

Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours Health System announced Bon Secours St. Francis Health System in Greenville, S.C., has acquired naming rights to the BI-LO Center, a sports and entertainment arena in Greenville.

Bon Secours St. Francis acquired naming rights as part of a $4 million partnership with the Greenville Arena District Board, which oversees management of the BI-LO Center and another South Carolina facility.

Bon Secours St. Francis renamed the 15,000-seat center the Bon Secours Wellness Arena and will use funds generated by the deal to support rotating interactive exhibits in the arena, according to the news release. Bon Secours St. Francis has also begun making upgrades to the arena building.

Roger Newton, general manager of the BI-LO Center, said in the release, “A partnership with Bon Secours St. Francis makes perfect sense. Both our missions revolve around enriching peoples’ lives. Our facilities and staff coupled with their health knowledge and expertise will make us a dynamic pair.”
