Kola A. Akindele, JD. Senior Director for Community and Government Relations at University of Massachusetts Medical School (Worcester, Mass.). In his current role, Mr. Akindele is developing the strategic relationship between UMass Medical School, the government and the greater Worcester community. He helped grow UMass’s multi-departmental public health collaboration with the Worcester Division of Public Health and has experience as community relations at Hartford (Conn.) Hospital. He is a founding member of The African Council, which aims to increase civic engagement among Africans living in Massachusetts. The Worcester Business Journal named Mr. Akindele to its 40 Under 40 list in 2016.
