R1 RCM has introduced two new AI-powered tools through its Phare Operating System.
The revenue cycle management company launched Phare OS in October, designed to deploy agentic and labor tools across the revenue cycle to improve throughput, reduce cost to collect and boost yield.
The new tools introduced April 14 are:
- R1 AR Recovery, which combines technology and AI-assisted experts to reduce accounts receivable.
- R1 Denial Management, which uses AI-assisted workflows to accelerate appeals, reduce denials and increase recoveries.
Phare OS is currently live with select R1 clients, according to an April 14 news release. Among them is Renton, Wash.-based Providence.
“R1 has been a key partner, helping us build and maintain financial and operational health so we can focus on our Mission of caring for patients in greatest need,” Providence CEO Eric Wexler said in the release. “Phare OS, combined with R1’s delivery model and commitment to collaboration, plays an important role in supporting care delivery across our seven states and 51 hospitals.”
