The organization’s first Consumer Loyalty Awards were created using results from NRC Health’s nationally syndicated Market Insights survey, which polled more than 310,000 households nationwide from June 2017 through May 2018. To qualify for the list, each organization had to garner at least 150 top-of-mind mentions by consumers in the survey.
The 100 award winners were recognized during the 2018 NRC Health Symposium, which took place Aug. 26-28 in San Diego.
Here are the top 10 Consumer Loyalty Award-winning hospitals for 2017-18:

- Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia)
- University of Utah Health Care (Salt Lake City)
- Mcleod Regional Medical Center (Florence, S.C.)
- Nebraska Medicine (Omaha)
- University of Chicago Medicine
- University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (Iowa City)
- UW Health (Madison, Wis.)
- Hoag Hospital Newport Beach (Calif.)
