Thomson Reuters Announces Top 100 Hospitals

The healthcare division of Thomson Reuters has announced its list of the top 100 hospitals in the United States, according to a Thomson Reuters news release

The Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals study examines the performance of each hospital in nine areas: mortality, medical complications, patient safety, average length of stay, expenses, profitability, cash-to-debt ratio, patient satisfaction and adherence to clinical standards of care.

Thomson Reuters evaluated 3,000 short-term, acute care, non-federal hospitals for the study.
