Edward Hospital (Naperville, Ill.). Edward Hospital is the main campus of the Edward-Elmhurst Health system, which was created by the merger of Edward Hospital and Elmhurst (Ill.) Memorial Healthcare in 2013. In 1991, Edward Hospital became the first hospital in Illinois to offer all private patient rooms. Today, the hospital houses 352 private patient rooms and has held Magnet recognition for nursing excellence since 2005.
