Augusta Health (Fishersville, Va.). This 255-bed hospital opened in 1994 and today has 2,300 staff members and hosts more than 12,000 annual admissions. In 2015 and 2016, Augusta Health was named among the nation’s 50 best hospitals by Healthgrades. The hospital also received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from Healthgrades in 2014 to 2016.
