The gift is the largest in the hospital’s history, according to a March 10 news release from the Providence Mission Hospital Foundation.

The hospital will use the funds to build the Rancho Mission Viejo Family Tower, which will house intensive care services, operating rooms and procedural suites, a cardiology department, rehabilitation units, and Level II pediatric and adult trauma centers, alongside expanded radiology and clinical laboratory services, the release said.

The tower is expected to open in 2030.
