Together, the following six states have reported more than 60 percent of the total number of Zika cases in the U.S. as of Nov. 16.
1. Florida — 708 travel-associated cases, representing 17 percent of the total number of cases in the U.S., in addition to 139 cases acquired locally via mosquitoes
2. New York — 905 travel-associated cases (22 percent of total number of U.S. cases)
3. California — 340 travel-associated cases (8 percent of total number of U.S. cases)
4. Texas — 237 travel-associated cases (6 percent of total number of U.S. cases)
5. New Jersey — 157 travel-associated cases (4 percent of total number of U.S. cases)
6. Pennsylvania — 154 travel-associated cases (4 percent of total number of U.S. cases)
