The patient safety curriculum was created based on a 2010 white paper released by the National Patient Safety Foundation’s Lucian Leape Institute. It focuses on patient safety, medical errors, prevention and accountability and is open to medical school, nursing, pharmacy and dental students.

The lectures kicked off in early July.
