Memorial Hospital in Colorado Closes Some Services Due to Water Quality

Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colo., has shut down some services, including its outpatient surgery department, after it discovered subpar water quality, according to a Colorado Connection report.

Hospital employees complained of “a strange odor and color in the water.” They suffered nausea and other symptoms but were released after treatment. Hospital officials did not go into detail about the water quality but hope to have everything reopened by next week.
