Mayo Clinic Raises $1.35B in Five-Year Campaign

Mayo Clinic on has raised $1.35 billion in a five-year fundraising campaign, surpassing its goal of $1.25 billion, according to a report from Business Week.

The funds will be used for cancer drug development, new professorships, the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Florida, research on aging and other programs.

More than 286,000 benefactors gave during the campaign.
