Rhinitis and preexisting asthma were connected to a higher risk of long COVID, but the evidence linking asthma and long COVID was more uncertain than the condition’s association with rhinitis, according to the study.
In conclusion, the researchers said preexisting asthma or rhinitis could increase the risk of long COVID-19.
