Five things to know:
1. The partnership, announced Feb. 3, will combine Press Ganey’s data and expertise in healthcare with Microsoft’s capabilities in artificial intelligence, cloud computing and ambient listening technologies, according to a joint news release.
2. As part of the partnership, Press Ganey will embed AI-powered ambient listening insights into its Human Experience Platform via integration with Microsoft’s ambient solution, DAX Copilot.
3. Press Ganey will also use Microsoft’s AI-powered predictive analytics to help healthcare organizations identify and address potential safety and experience challenges, such as emerging trends and high-risk periods.
4. Additionally, Press Ganey will use Microsoft Azure’s cloud infrastructure for HIPAA-compliant data sharing and collaboration across organizations.
5. The partnership with Microsoft comes as Press Ganey is investing in generative AI and other technologies. Press Ganey, a healthcare analytics and consulting company, announced in January that it is introducing three AI-powered tools for healthcare leaders in safety, human resources, nursing, patient experience and marketing.
